A longer view of the ceiling in the entry way before demolition... notice the stains and patches (when we viewed the home, there was only 1 very weak bulb in this light fixture so the patches were not noticeable at all)

The carpenter has better pictures of the rotting that was further up the roof, but we have not been able to reach him to get copies. There were several areas where you could not step without fear of falling through.
